Ex Libris Stamp

2013 | silver, rubber stamp cliché, foam rubber

Ex libris stamps are used to print a small mark on the first page of a book to indicate its owner. I was commissioned to design the motif and then create the stamp as an object, guided by the style of Wiener Werkstätte and their artists’ monograms.

The stamp is built with two sliding panels to allow the text-based parts of the design to be removed and the monogram to be stamped independently.
